Here are
some pictures of completed windows we made using Jurgen
products. They have yet to be installed in the restaurant
they were made for, but I thought you might like to see some
pictures. I think we ended up with 25-30 windows. Please
consider the pictures as submittal in the glass painting
contest if they meet the criteria.

Above is a photo of a stained glass window which I titled
“Eternal Spring.” The window was made with your lacquer-based
glass paints and liquid leading on 3/16” plexiglass. It
measures 3’ x 4’ in size and retained in a commercially made
light box. It was designed and made to provide a meditative and
decorative focus in a window-less prayer and meditation room in
a Continuing Care Retirement Community here in Hingham, MA. This
was my first experience using the Jurgen Glass paints, but with
extensive professional experience in painting, design and
teaching. I was able to achieve all that I had hoped for in my
design planning because of the brilliance and transparency of
the Jurgen glass paint colors and the ease of their application.
Follow-up workshop activity with retired seniors using the
left-over colors, liquid leading and one of your design
reference books has shown that the complete novice can quickly
master the process and achieve masterful results without
difficulty. |
